  Functional Fitness for the Parkinson’s Client with Jody Kennett

 

The participant of this session will gain a full understanding of Parkinson’s disease and how it affects a client’s physical ability and their daily physical struggles.  You will learn how  to develop a comprehensive exercise program that will target their specific areas of difficulty.  The knowledge and understanding gained in this session will help the trainer implement the appropriate exercise selection for their Parkinson’s client assisting them to live with more independence, confidence, and empowerment.

  Introducing the Myorelease Technique with Andrew Peters

 

A healthy neuro-muscular system is essential for your well being and aliveness. In this course we will learn how to release your own myofascial trigger points.  This will decrease muscle hypertonicity, soreness, and restricted motion, restoring optimal neuro-muscular tone and function.  Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

  Fibromyalgia and the Fitness Professional with Jenny Blackham

 

This 4 hour intensive course on Fibromyalgia (FM) will answer all your questions about training an individual with FM.  Jenny Blackham specializes in working with people with FM and has done so for 15 years.  Through her private practice she has assisted many clients in successfully transforming their way of life.  Jenny has specifically designed this course for fitness professionals.  The course will have both theoretical and practical components.

  The Joint Replacement Client:  Pre & Post-op Exercise Guidelines with Jody Kennett

 

This day long joint replacement course is designed to help exercise specialists understand the complexities of joint replacements and to focus on the specific goals of both pre and post operative exercise selection. The course will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to create safe and effective exercise programs. You will be provided with a comprehensive manual that details all aspects of joint replacements from the surgical procedure to exercise programming to creating your own class.
