The Rockies are one of the great mountain ranges
in the world. They are the backdrop of the Canadian wild and
many of the western states. A cycling trail has been developed
that takes one threw and over the Rockies. The trail is called
the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR). It is the
premier off-pavement mountain
bike route. It covers 4337 km/2691 mi, crisscrossing the
Continental Divide south to
north. This route is remote with spectacular
terrain and scenery. The trail has
over 200,000 feet of elevation gain and follows
the Rocky Mountains through New Mexico, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming,
Montana, British Columbia, Alberta.
This site is dedicated to keep people up to date
on the adventures and experience of
Rick Kaselj cycling the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route from May 2005 to
August 2005.
